2 die of dengue fever in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Two persons succumbed to dengue fever amid the rising cases of the mosquito-borne disease in the province, a health official said Wednesday, July 7.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the fatalities, aged 9 and 35, were from Iba and San Narciso towns.

Bueno said at least 614 dengue cases had been reported in the province since January.

Among the dengue patients was a 12-year-old boy, who also tested positive for COVID-19.
