5 drug suspects busted in Laguna
LUCENA CITY—Police arrested five suspected drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Laguna province early Wednesday.
Colonel Serafin Petallo II, Laguna police chief, in a report, identified the suspects as Eric Furio, Glenly Colot, Marian Pascual, Earl Jhon Garbo, and Jego Sevilla.
The report stated that anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Colot after selling P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in Barangay Niugan in Cabuyao City around 2 a.m. The suspect yielded two sachets of shabu.
The police nabbed Furio in Barangay Marinig, also in Cabuyao, around 1:30 a.m. He was found carrying four sachets of shabu.
Pascual was collared in Barangay Dita in Sta. Rosa City around 1:35 a.m. Authorities seized six sachets of meth.
Earlier, a police team busted Sevilla and Garbo, a drug pusher in Barangay Lewin in Lumban town. The duo yielded four packs of shabu.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
