Drug group leader, 4 others nabbed in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY—A notorious leader of an illegal drug group and four others were arrested in separate operations in Camarines Sur province Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Ryan Atanacio, Pili town police chief, said Michael Panganiban, Christian Carl Sotto, Reynaldo Panergayo, and Jelico Osea were caught while having a drug session in Barangay Caroyroyan around 10:30 p.m.

Panganiban, who was the target of the operation, was tagged as the leader of the so-called Panganiban drug group, involved in gun-running and illegal drug trade in the town and neighboring municipalities.
