Tarlac has 49 new COVID-19 patients
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—Tarlac has 49 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths, according to the provincial government on Monday, June 28.
At least 15 of the new cases are residents of Tarlac City, the provincial capital. The others are from Capas, La Paz, Moncada, Bamban, Concepcion, San Jose, Paniqui, Camiling, Pura, Mayantoc, Anao, San Manuel, and Victoria towns.
The new cases include a 1-year-old infant from Anao.
The fatalities are a 62-year-old resident of Barangay San Luis and a 68-year-old man from Barangay Maliwalo, both in Tarlac City.
As of June 28, Tarlac had 1,127 active cases from a total of 8,201.
Tarlac City has the most active cases at 488, followed by Capas with 92 and Camiling with 80.
Article continues after this advertisementThe recovery Monday of 56 patients brought the total number of healed patients to 6,701. The death toll is at 373.
The provincial government issued Monday an advisory on the temporary postponement of vaccination against COVID-19 at the SM City Tarlac “until further notice.”
