Farmer gunned down in Cagayan

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — A 65-year-old farmer was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Tuao, Cagayan on Saturday, police said Sunday.
Police Colonel Renell Sabaldica, Cagayan police director, identified the fatality as Ronnie Dela Cruz, a resident of Barangay Bugnay.

Initial investigation showed that Dela Cruz was sitting in front of a repair shop in Barangay Palca when the gunmen shot him.
The local police said further investigation is ongoing to determine the motive of the killing and arrest the killers.
