5 more die of COVID-19 in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Five more patients have died from COVID-19 complications in this province, bringing to 75 its death toll on Monday, June 21.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said among the new deaths are three women aged 52 to 60 from Botolan, San Marcelino, and Subic towns.

The other two are men aged 55 and 66 from San Antonio and Iba.

Bueno also reported that at least 92 more patients have recovered from the disease.

The recoveries brought down the active cases in the province to 597, as only 14 new ones were reported on the same day.

The province had 3,200 COVID-19 cases since last year, of which 2,527 had recovered, and 75 had died.
