2 more cops in Zambales test positive for COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—At least two more policemen in Zambales contracted COVID-19 and are among its 32 new infections, an official said Wednesday, June 16.

Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the two policemen, aged 44 and 45, are stationed in Subic town.

To date, at least 46 police personnel in the province have been infected with COVID-19 and 17 of them are still being treated.

The province now has 736 active COVID-19 cases.
