Active COVID-19 cases in Olongapo down to 276

OLONGAPO CITY—The number of active COVID-19 cases in this city has gone down to 276 as of Tuesday, June 15, after 21 patients recovered from the viral disease, an official said.

Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the total number of recoveries has jumped to 1,916.

The number reflects an 82-percent recovery rate out of the 2,311 infections logged in the city since last year.

Paulino said 12 new cases were added to the list on the same day, while no additional deaths were recorded.

At least 119 residents here had succumbed to COVID-19.

The city remains on modified general community quarantine until June 30. It is the least form of quarantine in the country.
