3 more patients die of COVID-19 in Olongapo City
OLONGAPO CITY—The city’s death toll related to COVID-19 rose to 118 after three more patients succumbed to the viral disease, an official said Sunday, June 13.
Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said the latest fatalities were a 66-year-old woman, a 61-year-old man, and a 53-year-old woman. They died from June 10-13.
Paulino said 40 new COVID-19 cases were also registered Sunday, bringing to 2,286 the total infections since last year.
The new patients are aged 17-73, and most of them were exposed to virus-infected relatives or contracted the virus at work.
So far, the city has 312 active COVID-19 cases and 1,856 recoveries.
