P3.4M shabu seized in Pampanga buy-bust, suspect arrested
ANGELES CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in Pampanga arrested a “big-time drug pusher” and seized an estimated P3.4 million worth of shabu from following a buy-bust operation at Barangay Malabanias on Saturday.
In a statement, PDEA-Region 3 director Christian Frivaldo said Miguel Omar, 35, resident of Naga City was arrested in an operation along Don Juico Avenue.
Frivaldo said Omar “was involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Angeles City and Mabalacat City” in Pampanga.
He said PDEA-Pampanga agents seized from the suspect some 500 grams of suspected shabu along with the marked peso bills used in the operation.
Omar is facing a formal complaint for violation of section 5 of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, for selling illegal drugs.
