Bacolod resort reopens but customers limited to 30% venue capacity
BACOLOD CITY – The Victorias City Resort and Gawahon Eco-Park reopened Tuesday, June 8, with customers limited to 30 percent of their venue capacity.
According to Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca, the city earlier closed the park to help slow down the spread of COVID-19 in the city.
Malls, supermarkets, retail stores, restobars, restaurants, and fast-food outlets, among others are allowed to operate until 10 p.m. while selling of liquor is until 6 p.m. only.
Palanca said business establishments in Victorias City must strictly adhere to the Business Permits and Licensing Office guidelines such as the implementation of the minimum health protocols such as wearing of face masks and social distancing.
Business establishments that violate the guidelines face a fine of P3,000 for the first offense, P4,000 for the second offense and P5,000 for the third offense and revocation of business permit, Palanca said.
