Over 8,000 Zambales residents now fully vaccinated against COVID-19
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — More than 8,000 residents in this province have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Wednesday, June 9.
The latest data from the provincial health office showed that at least 21,798 individuals under the priority sectors have received the first dose of the vaccine, of which 8,176 received their second dose.
A total of 29,974 doses of CoronaVac and Astrazeneca vaccines from the national government have been injected to priority groups that include health workers, senior citizens, and those with comorbidities.
Earlier, Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said their target was to vaccinate 400,000 residents of the province, which is 70 percent of its 590,848 population based on the 2015 census.
