Shabu worth P2 million seized in Bukidnon bust; 3 arrested

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested three suspected drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Bukidnon on Saturday which also led to the seizure of some P2 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth).

According to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, the bust was done in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Poblacion West, Kalilangan town at around 12:55 p.m.

The arrested suspects were identified as Jucair Mandok, 30; Jabir Dacula Mandok, 19; and Sittie Mandok, 28.

Eleazar said the PNP-PDEA operatives confiscated 300 grams of a white crystalline substance suspected to be ‘shabu’ with an estimated street value of P2,040,000.00.

Appropriate criminal complaints are now being readied against the arrested suspects, the PNP said.
