Fire at Manila’s Port Area now under control — BFP
MANILA, Philippines — A fire that razed a residential area in Manila’s Port Area has been declared under control, the Manila’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
According to the Manila Fire District, the fire that damaged several houses behind the Philippine Red Cross office, which was made of light structures, was put under control by 7:44 p.m.
Before this, the fire reached the third alarm at 6:03 p.m.

Posts from the Manila Public Information Office showed firefighters responding to the scene, just as firefighters raised the blaze to the third alarm. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but investigators are currently on the ground.
