Pampanga cops nab 2 fugitives

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga Policemen arrested the most wanted person in the capital city of San Fernando on Monday, May 17.

Police Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay, Pampanga police director, identified the suspect as Ginger Pineda, 36, a resident of Barangay Saguin, also in San Fernando.

The arrest was made on the strength of a warrant issued by Judge Benigno Abila of the Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 117 for violation of Republic 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with no bail recommended.

On the same day, policemen in Bacolor town arrested a certain Elmer Mallari, 54, who was the subject of two warrants for violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

Judge Ulysses Delgado of Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro RTC Branch 44 issued the warrants with combined recommended bail of P300,000. INQ
