Diesel prices up, gasoline down, kerosene unchanged
MANILA, Philippines — Local pump prices of diesel rose on Tuesday for the fifth week in a row, this time by 20 centavos per liter, bringing the total increase to P2.30 per liter.
But prices of gasoline decreased by 20 centavos per liter after rising for four straight weeks.
There was no price change for kerosene.
Caltex adjusted prices at 12:01 a.m. followed by Petron, Shell, Seaoil, PTT and Phoenix at 6 a.m. and Cleanfuel at 8:01 a.m. Dubai crude, the Asian bellwether, was at $65.42 per barrel as of May 13, down from $66.66 a week ago.
