Motorcycle rider dead in Quezon road mishap
LUCENA CITY –– A motorcyclist died in an accident along the Maharlika Highway in Candelaria town in Quezon province on Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
The Candelaria police reported that Marvin Tagana, 21, was thrown off when he lost control of his motorcycle and landed on the pavement while negotiating the highway in Barangay Malbanban Norte at 8:50 p.m.
Tagana was subsequently hit by the rear right wheel of an oncoming vehicle, the report said.

The motorcycle rider died on the scene, the report said.
The driver of the other vehicle sped off after the incident, the report added.
