DepEd to vaccinate all teachers, personnel by June

/ 04:46 AM April 24, 2021

The Department of Education (DepEd), the government’s largest agency, said it hoped to start vaccinating the rest of its teaching and nonteaching personnel by June. The vaccine prioritization for teaching and nonteaching personnel was earlier moved up from category B1 to A4, who are next in line in the government vaccination priority list, after A1 (health workers), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (persons with comorbidities). Education Secretary Leonor Briones said DepEd had long been campaigning to move up teachers in the vaccine priority list.
