PAL to resume Manila-Calbayog flights
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Airlines (PAL) is resuming flights between Manila and Calbayog in an effort to restore operations amid new a new lockdown.
PAL will launch a roundtrip flight every Thursday. This will increase to twice per week (Thursday and Sunday) starting July 4 and thrice weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) on Oct. 5.
The flights between Manila and Calbayog will initially be limited to locally stranded individuals, returning overseas Filipinos, and authorized persons outside residence.
Travelers arriving in Calbayog from Manila must present a negative RT-PCR test result (taken within 72 hours prior to entry) and are not required to undergo quarantine unless they exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
