Lawmen nab 2 persons in Lorega buy-bust

TWO men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in barangay Lorega San Miguel, Cebu City, on Friday night.

Florian Mamat Remo and Edgardo Corpuz, both Lorega residents,  were arrested shortly after selling a pack of suspected shabu worth P500 to a poseur buyer.

The two men were detained at the office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas and refused to comment on their arrest.

In barangay Bulacao, five persons were arrested after they were allegedly caught injecting themselves with Nubain, a prohibited drug, on Thursday night.

Police said several ampules of Nubain, syringes and other drug paraphernalia were recovered from Clifford Carbera, 28; Patricio Pacana, 34; Carmen Patlingao; Lino Castanares and Ricardo Rescuento, all residents of Bulacao.
