Over 67,000 QC health workers vaccinated vs COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 67,286 health workers in Quezon City have so far been vaccinated against COVID-19, Mayor Joy Belmonte said Thursday.
Belmonte said the city currently has 12 vaccination sites.
She said the local government was supposed to start inoculating senior citizens on Thursday but will instead wait for the Department of Health (DOH) to release guidelines on it.
“Tingin ko dadami’t dadami pa ang magpapabakuna lalo na kapag ang seniors ay papayagan na magpabakuna,” she said in a Laging Handa public briefing.
(I think more residents will get vaccinated especially once we start inoculating senior citizens.)
“I’m quite confident na magiging matagumpay ang vaccination program sa Lungsod Quezon,” she added.

The Philippines has so far administered 922,898 vaccine doses, the DOH earlier said.
