4 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Albay, Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY –– At least four alleged illegal drug pushers were caught selling suspected shabu (crystal meth) in separate drug stings in Albay and Camarines Sur on Sunday, a police report said Monday.
The police drug operations yielded four 38 caliber handguns and ammunition, 13 sachets of shabu, and a sachet of marijuana, said Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
In Albay province, Aldrin Luchaves, 29, a high-value target (HVT) and resident of Barangay Lapu-Lapu in Legazpi City, was caught selling shabu in his village around 10:30 p.m. Seized from him was a sachet of shabu and a .38 caliber gun.
In Tiwi town, Albay, Candido Morate Jr., 41, an HVT of Barangay Biyong, was caught in a buy-bust in Barangay Bagumbayan around 7:30 p.m. The suspect yielded three sachets of shabu and a loaded .38 caliber gun.
In Guinobatan town, Albay, Crizaldo Saligumba, 47, a resident of Barangay Muladbucad Grande, was served a search warrant at his house at 5:15 p.m., where police found eight sachets of shabu, a sachet of marijuana, and a loaded .38 caliber gun.
In Sipocot town in Camarines Sur province, Anaclito Brito, an HVT, 48, of Barangay Malubago, was caught selling shabu around 10 p.m. When searched, he yielded a .38 caliber gun with three bullets.
