Manila to issue one quarantine pass per family this week-long ECQ
MANILA, Philippines — The Manila City local government will issue one quarantine pass per family in light of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) placed over Metro Manila and four other provinces from March 29 to April 4.
“Issuance of quarantine pass shall be one quarantine pass per family,” a memorandum issued to barangay captains read.
The memorandum was signed by Manila Barangay Bureau chief Romeo Bagay and posted by the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO).

Barangay captains were directed to issue quarantine passes with control numbers at an odd-even scheme.
Residents holding a quarantine pass with an odd number can go out on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Malacañang said quarantine passes are once again needed by anyone in ECQ areas heading out to buy food and other essentials.
Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said those who have lost their quarantine passes previously issued should just explain that they are going out for essential purposes.
