Pasay General Hospital OPD closed after 3 nurses contract COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines – The Out-Patient Department (OPD) teleconsult of the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) will be temporarily closed starting Thursday (March 25) as three nurses tested positive for COVID-19, the hospital authority announced.
In a statement on Wednesday, PCGH officer-in-charge Dr. John Victor De Gracia said the department will resume its operation once the personnel test negative in a new RT-PCR test.
All of the department’s personnel are waiting for the results of their RT-PCR tests.
The PCGH was earlier reported as high-risk in terms of total bed occupancy with a 75.9 percent COVID-19 bed capacity.
