Alleged big-time marijuana pusher nabbed in Lucena
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested an alleged big-time marijuana peddler in this city in a buy-bust operation Thursday, March 18.
Anti-illegal drug operatives led by Major Lauro Moratillo collared Felipe Andaya III after he sold P1,000 worth of marijuana to an undercover police officer in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at 2:15 a.m., said Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, in a report.
The police confiscated from Andaya four sachets of dried marijuana leaves weighing 44.33 grams, with a street value of P15,950.
The police tagged Andaya as a major supplier of marijuana to local drug users.
The suspect is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the report said.
