Woman killed, children hurt in Caloocan stabbing spree
MANILA, Philippines – Police are still searching for the suspect responsible for stabbing four members of a family in Caloocan City on Monday morning, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.
The victims, identified as Ana Agullo, 48 and her three children, were discovered by authorities inside their home in No. 597 Libis Reparo village at 6:30 a.m. after they were stabbed several times by a man identified by authorities as Ivan Climaco.
Agullo died after sustaining multiple stab wounds in her body while her three children were rushed to the Manila Central University Hospital for medical treatment.
Police suspect that Climaco attacked Agullo after she ordered that he pay off his debt.
