2 suspects arrested in Calapan City after selling sachet of meth to undercover agent
CITY OF CALAPAN—Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in the city by police and anti-drug agents on Monday (March 8).
Kevin Metrio, 25, and John Cyrus Evangelio, 27, were arrested by the Calapan City Drug Enforcement Team and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) past 1 p.m. at the village of Biga, according to a report of the Calapan police.
The report said an uncercover agent was able to buy a packet of shabu, or crystal meth, from the two suspects.
Seized from them were nine more packets of meth weighing less than a gram and worth around P5,000.
The suspects are now in police custody.
Also on Monday, a laborer wanted for acts of lasciviousness was arrested by police at the village of Camilmil, also in the city.
