No lockdown in Caloocan City amid rising COVID-19 cases
MANILA, Philippines — Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan on Monday denied an impending lockdown in the city but said that curfew rules and the use of quarantine passes will be reimposed starting Wednesday amid rising COVID-19 cases.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Malapitan said that an executive order will be soon released on the use of color-coded quarantine passes and the implementation of a 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew.
“Wala pong mangyayaring lockdown sa Caloocan sa ngayon,” he said.

As of Sunday, Caloocan has recorded a total of 14,894 cases.
