Cops chasing drug suspect stumble on Ecija cybersex den, arrest 14

SAN JOSE CITY, Nueva Ecija—At least 14 people were arrested while several computer sets were seized after policemen discovered an alleged cybersex den in an apartment here on Wednesday (March 3).

The suspects were identified as Emmanuel Claudio, Darren Zabala, Mark Roxas, Jomari Robles, Gerald Villamor, Richard Bryan dela Cruz, Andrew Roblez, Charistian Libunao and Christian Juntino.

Also arrested were their companions identified as Gerome de Leon, Alfredo dela Cruz, Roberto Revillo, Mark Anthony Castillo, and Michael Jolo Palma.

The alleged operator of the cybersex den, identified as Allan Coloma, was not around during the operation at the village of Abar 1st in the city.

Col. Jaime Santos, acting Nueva Ecija police director, said 17 sets of computers, an internet router and a modem used in the illegal cyber trade were also seized in the operation.

Santos said anti-drug policemen discovered the place while chasing a certain Ronnie Wagan who hid in the apartment to elude arrest during a drug buy-bust operation.

Police said the suspects were caught in the act of running pornographic websites that they sold to their clients.

Investigation said the suspects would also disguise as women to engage their clients in online chats.

The suspects would trade nude photos with their victims which they would later use for blackmail and to extort money.

Charges of violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 and human trafficking would be filed.
