Bulacan to start rollout of Sinovac vaccines on Sunday
PULILAN, Bulacan –– Gov. Daniel Fernando on Wednesday announced the arrival of 926 doses of Sinovac vaccines in Bulacan on Sunday, March 7, for medical front-liners.
But he said only half of the 833 health workers, who earlier agreed to get inoculated, were willing to receive the jab made by China.
Fernando announced this during the signing of an agreement between the Pulilan government and several private cold storage companies, schools, hospitals, and a waste management company that offered the use of their cold storage facilities for free.
The signing, led by Pulilan Mayor Maritz Montejo, was held at the St. Dominic Academy in Barangay Poblacion here.
Pulilan’s deal for private storage facilities is under its Oplan Bayanihan ng Bakuna sa Bulacan.
Other local governments, including Malolos City and the towns of Guiguinto, Baliwag, and Plaridel would adopt the vaccination program of Pulilan.
