Pasay clarifies 95 households under strict community quarantine
MANILA, Philippines — The local government of Pasay on Wednesday clarified that it imposed localized enhanced community quarantine on 95 households residing in the 55 villages as it continues to prevent a further surge of Covid-19 infections in the city.
In a statement, the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit announced that 95 households were under strict lockdown but not the whole 55 villages, contrary to the previous statements of the city government.
The local government on Tuesday night announced that 22 more barangays were affected in the strict lockdown, bringing the total barangays with stricter quarantine measures to 55.
The city government implemented stricter quarantine measures because it recorded three or more active cases of respiratory disease in the said barangays.
