MANILA, Philippines — Single-use plastic will be banned anew in Quezon City starting March 1 as the local government said it would resume the full implementation of its ordinance banning plastic bags.

The ban was initially implemented in January 2020, but was suspended in May when the city was placed under modified enhanced community quarantine.

Banned are plastic sando bags and plastic utensils such as forks, spoons, knives and coffee stirrers.
