4 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Laguna
LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested four suspected drug pushers and seized one illegal firearm in separate buy-bust operations in Sta. Rosa City and Pila town in Laguna province early Tuesday.
A report from the Laguna police information office said anti-narcotics agents collared Aldrin Delos Reyes after he sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a drug deal in Barangay Dita in Sta. Rosa City around 12:40 a.m.
Authorities seized eight plastic sachets of shabu from the suspect, who is an identified street-level shabu peddler in the city. He also yielded an undocumented caliber .38 gun with two bullets.
Two hours later, the police also arrested Wally Hilario and his partner, Marimar Jamero in a sting operation in another part of the village.
The duo, both identified drug pushers by police, yielded five sachets of shabu.
In Pila town, police arrested Isidro Pablo after he sold a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Labuin around 1 a.m.
The police confiscated three sachets of shabu from the suspect, also an identified drug pusher in the locality.
The report did not provide the total volume of confiscated illegal drugs and their estimated street value.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
