Teenager stabbed dead in Puerto Princesa resto quarrel; suspects nabbed
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed dead during an altercation with fellow teenagers in a restaurant – bar Saturday night, police said Sunday.
The victim was with six friends at a local bar in Puerto Princesa City Baywalk in the village of San Isidro, when they got into an altercation with another group.
Witnesses said the two groups threw rocks at each other at around 11:30 p.m.
Suspect Arjay Fabia, 18 and a resident of Barangay Langogan in this city, and a certain “Waway”, another minor-aged suspect, approached the victim’s table and stabbed him in the chest.
The victim was taken to the MMG-PPC Cooperative Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
The suspects fled but were eventually arrested by pursuing police officers.
