6-month-old baby in Eastern Visayas dies from COVID-19 complications

TACLOBAN CITY –– A 6-month-old infant in Eastern Visayas succumbed to complications of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The infant, who passed away on Dec. 23, joined three other individuals who died of the virus in the region, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

The three other deaths involved a 67-year-old woman, who died on Dec. 22, a 65-year-old woman, who died on Dec. 23, and a 52-year-old man, who died on Dec.24.

As of Friday, Eastern Visayas has 10,816 COVID-19 cases with 123 fatalities.
