Caloocan, Muntinlupa adjust curfew hours for Simbang Gabi
MANILA, Philippines — The cities of Caloocan and Muntinlupa adjusted their curfew hours to allow residents to attend the traditional Simbang Gabi or Misa de gallo during the Christmas season while still observing strict health protocols to combat the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In a social media post on Friday, Caloocan city Mayor Oscar Malapitan said he signed Executive Order no. 45 series of 2020 which will shorten curfew hours to 12 midnight to 3 a.m. from the previous 12 midnight to 4 a.m.

Malapitan likewise, reminded individuals aged 17 years old and below that they are prohibited from leaving theor place of residence, except for essential purposes.
In a separate post, Muntinlupa City also announced that it adjusted its curfew hours to 12 midnight to 3 a.m. starting December.

Article continues after this advertisementThe Muntinlupa City government said fines for curfew violators range from P300 to P1,000.
Minors who will violate the curfew will be issued a warning for the first offense. They will be slapped fines of up to P500 for the succeeding offenses.
San Juan City also earlier shortened its curfew hours this December for Simbang Gabi attendees.
