CEBU CITY –– More than half of the barangays in Cebu City are now coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-free.
The Cebu City’s Emergency Operation Center (EOC) said 47 of the 80 barangays in the city have no more active cases for 14 days.
Cebu City Councilor Joel Garganera, the EOC chief, however, did not reveal the names of these villages.
Garganera said the city’s daily average positivity rate has been decreasing for the past months.
Based on the computation of EOC the daily average for the month of October was 1.7 percent.
“We had a daily average of positivity rate of 4.36 for the month of August. It went down to 2.80 for the month of September. Another decrease was noted in October,” said Garganera.
