Fire hits residential area in typhoon-battered Cavite
MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in the city of Bacoor in Cavite on Sunday night, just hours after Typhoon Rolly battered the province.
Imus City Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi shared photos showing a huge fire can in a residential area in Barangay Sineguelasan.
As of this writing, the fire was under the fourth alarm.
As of 11 p.m. on Sunday, parts of Cavite were still under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals No. 1 and No. 2 Earlier, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla placed the province under a state of calamity because of the storm.
