MANILA, Philippines – Four persons were wounded after the bus they were riding rammed onto the wall of the Metro Rail Transit Ayala Station Thursday, an officer from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

“Four people were injured when an HM bus tried to avoid a stalled bus near along the southbound lane of EDSA and hit the wall of the MRT station in Ayala,” Edward Gonzales, MMDA Road Emergency Group head, said of the incident that happened at around 3 p.m.

Gonzales said that three of those injured were rushed to the Ospital ng Makati in Malugay Street on board the MMDA Ambulance 7. He said that another person was rushed to an undisclosed hospital by a taxicab.

The accident did not disrupt MRT operations, said Renato San Jose, operations director of the MRT system.
