ICD turns 45 on Sunday
The International College of Dentists (ICD) Philippines Section will mark its 45th anniversary on Sunday with an annual convocation and banquet at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City.
The event, which will start at 5 p.m., will have as its theme, “Continuing the Tradition of Service.”
With former Supreme Court Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno as guest of honor and inducting officer, the event will be highlighted by the induction of new officers led by fellow Marilyn A. Leung, the induction of eight new fellows, doctors Niceto Astudillo, Angela Centeno, Caroline Franco, Alvin Laxamana, Maria Laarni Serraon, Ma. Jocelyn Tan, Tagumpay Tapawan and Angelica Torres, and the conferment of honorary fellowship on Jocelyn U. Ong, assistant manager, professional relations management division.
Outgoing ICD Philippines Section president Dr. Rosita S. Tan will turn over the reins of the organization to fellow Marilyn A. Leung.
