3 fall in Lucena drug busts

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested three notorious drug pushers, including a father and son, who allegedly sold shabu (crystal meth) in two buy-bust operations here Tuesday.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, identified the suspects as Fernando Tatlonghari, 56; Cesar Bulacan, 50, and his son Ryan, 24.

Anti-narcotics agents collared the father and son after they sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay 10 at 8 a.m.

Authorities seized nine plastic sachets of shabu from the suspects who were also both ex-convicts on a robbery case.

Earlier, police operatives also collared Tatlonghari after he sold P500 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Ibabang Iyam at 6:15 a.m.

The suspect yielded 10 plastic sachets of shabu.

The report said the three arrested suspects were in the police list of street-level drug pushers in the locality.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
