Pagasa: Rainy Sunday in N. Luzon due to LPA
MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Northern Luzon are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains on Sunday brought about by a low pressure area (LPA).
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the weather disturbance was last spotted at 225 kilometers east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and the Ilocos provinces will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country in the afternoon or evening, Pagasa added.
The weather bureau warned of possible lash floods and landslides in rain-affected areas.
