PLARIDEL, Bulacan –– A 33-year-old beneficiary of the government’s Special Amelioration Program (SAP) was arrested during a buy-bust operation here on Thursday.

Police Capt. Danny Cabotaje, Plaridel police chief, said Jonathan Galvez was among those arrested after being caught selling shabu (crystal meth) to a police undercover agent in Barangay Tabang.

The police said they were surprised to recover a SAP card receipt worth P6,500 dated Aug. 5 from Galvez after also recovering from him 30 small plastic sachets of shabu worth P20,500.

Cabotaje was still verifying if Galvez is part of the first batch of SAP beneficiaries or included in the waitlist or the additional beneficiaries.
