LOOK: Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lit up with colors of Lebanese flag after twin deadly blasts

MANILA, Philippines—The world’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, lit up on Tuesday with the colors of the Lebanese flag after twin blasts rocked the port of the country’s capital, Beirut, leaving dozens of deaths and thousands of injuries.

The lighting up of the 828-meter-tall building came as the world extends its support and condolences to Lebanon after the massive explosions.

“#BurjKhalifa lights up in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in #Lebanon,” the building’s official account wrote on Instagram.

Reports said at least 73 people died and 3,700 were injured across the center of the Lebanese capital due to the huge blasts.  /ra
