Did You Know: 2.2 million Filipinos working abroad April-September 2019
According to the results of the latest survey on overseas Filipinos recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, of the 2.2 million estimated overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who were working abroad at any time from April to September 2019, 20.7 percent were from Calabarzon.
This was the highest percentage among all regions. Those coming from Central Luzon, National Capital Region and Western Visayas comprised 13.3 percent, 9.7 percent and 9.0 percent, respectively.
On the other hand, the smallest proportion of OFWs came from Mimaropa with 1.5 percent.
