Pa looks for missing son

A 5-YEAR-old boy who went missing during the Sinulog Grand Parade last Sunday has not yet returned home.

His parents Allan and Agnes Roble have gone to different barangay halls hoping to find John Carl.

Yesterday, Allan, a 43-year-old construction worker, went to the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) to ask the police to help in the search.

He brought a photo of his missing son and also aired his appeal on radio stations.

The Roble’s house in barangay Carreta in Cebu City is along the parade route.

The little boy woke up early on Sunday to watch the grand parade. At around 7 a.m., he went out with two young playmates.

After two hours, his father grew alarmed when he could no longer find his son, whom he suspects followed the colorful higantes and floats that passed by.

After searching barangay halls in Day-as, Pari-an, and Zapatera among others, the parents are getting desperate.

The CPPO has alerted all police stations in Cebu to help find John Carl.
