MANILA, Philippines — The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) main office in Pasay City and its branch in Quezon City will temporarily close after several employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement Sunday, GSIS said its two offices will be closed from July 27 to 29 for disinfection. It did not detail how many employees contracted the virus.

“We are now thoroughly disinfecting the two offices as well as conducting contact tracing and monitoring of employees who tested positive for the virus,” GSIS president and general manager Rolando Macasaet said as quoted in the statement.
