New COVID-19 cases in Quezon still outnumber recoveries

LUCENA CITY—At least four novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients have recovered in Quezon but six new cases were found, according to authorities in the province on Thursday (July 23).

Two of the new COVID-19 patients were reported in Tayabas City and one each in the towns of San Antonio, Candelaria, Atimonan and Sariaya, the Quezon public information office said in its 5 p.m. report.

Two of the recovered patients, both health care workers, were from the island town of Alabat. The two others were from the towns of Tiaong and Infanta.

As of Thursday, Quezon recorded 262 COVID-19 cases, with 189 recoveries and 14 deaths.
