Man shot dead in Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines—A man was shot dead by a still unidentified suspect in Las Piñas before dawn Thursday, police said.

Police Senior Inspector Reynaldo Verdeflor said Marvin Lozana Limbaga,32, was at Bernabe Compound in the village of Pulang Lupa in Las Piñas around 5 a.m. after a drinking session with his friends when the suspect followed him while he was on his way home and fired two shots to his head.

“This resulted to his immediate death,” Verdeflor said.

He said that further investigation was being conducted to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the killing.
