Caloocan hospital shut down for disinfection
The city-run Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC)-South will be temporarily shut down for one week until July 23 for decontamination and sanitation. Mayor Oscar Malapitan said several health workers—nurses and medical technologists—have tested positive of the coronavirus.
He, however, did not provide details. The CCMC-South also reported that it has reached over capacity with the number of patients admitted due to the respiratory disease. —Nikka G. Valenzuela
